The IMI launches 2013 Headlight Competition for Students

The Institute of the Motor Industry’s (IMI) Headlight Competition has launched for its fourth year and will once again be sponsored by the Jaguar Land Rover Academy, who are donating a first prize for the winning team in each age category. The winning teams and their teachers will receive a tour of the Land Rover Heritage Museum and a 4x4 off-road experience.

IMI Professional Register now live - are you taking advantage?

The IMI’s Professional Register is now live and searchable by motorists at www.imiregister.org.uk.  If you are ATA accredited or a member of the IMI, it is more than likely that your name and place of work will be displayed.  Because of this, the IMI is calling on all automotive professionals that are listed on the register to check and, if necessary, update their details to make the most of the opportunities it provides.

Tim Kiek has been announced as the new editor of the Institute of the Motor Industry’s ‘Motor Industry Magazine’ (MIM), replacing Gareth Price, who has been editing the magazine since July 2011.
